DSC_6379a-940x330The Oak Ridge Campus is a Level II residential facility , providing a structured setting for male youth experiencing moderate to severe challenges at school, at home, or in the community.  The campus is located in the rural Tygart Valley of eastern West Virginia.

Youth enrolled at the Oak Ridge Campus are provided with an array of counseling services to determine and meet their unique needs.  They attend classes in an on grounds school provided by the West Virginia Department of Education.

Youth enrolled at the Oak Ridge Campus participate in a variety of recreational and social activities including organized sports, community service, hiking, camping, and fishing.  The program is designed to initiate  a turning point in the child’s life.  It is a temporary stop to readjust attitudes and goals before returning to their families as soon as possible.

Parents, family members, and others important to the child’s life are encouraged to participate in their treatment program.  The program at Oak Ridge is a five to eight month program.  Males between 13 and 17 who are residents of West Virginia, in the custody of DHHR, and meet other entrance criteria are eligible.
