DSC_6391a-940x330A Level III residential program for male youth experiencing highly challenging behavioral and emotional issue that have the potential to adversely affect their adult lives.  The program is highly structured and heavily staffed.  The campus is located in the mountains of eastern West Virginia.

Youth at the Main Campus are provided with an array of counseling services to determine and meet their unique needs.  They attend classes in an on grounds school provided by the west Virginia Department of Education.  The school provides opportunities for vocational and lifeskills training.  Health services are also available on site.  Youth enrolled at the Main Campus also participate in a variety of recreational and social activities including organized sports, community service, hiking, camping, and fishing.

The program is designed to initiate a turning point in a child’s  life.  It is a temporary stop to readjust attitudes and goals before returning to families.

Parents, family members, and others important to the child’s life are encouraged to participate in the treatment program.  The program at Main Campus is a six to twelve month program.  Males between 13 and 17 who are residents of West Virginia, in the custody of DHHR, and meet other entrance criteria are eligible.
