Via Youth Services, Elkins Mountain Schools works to make a positive difference in the lives of children before problems escalate and out-of home treatment is necessary.

Children and their families receive one-to-one support in their homes from professional Youth Services Workers who are licensed and experienced in working with youth who are at significant risk of being removed from their homes. They work with the children to build on their strengths and develop healthy, positive ways of interacting with others. High self-esteem and accountability are promoted. Parents and family members play a crucial role in the lives of these youth and are participants in these services.
